Today, Linda and I ventured out to the beach for some wonderful relaxation time away from work. Thankfully we both live off the blue line MBTA so we can just ride it all the way to the end to get to America’s First Public Beach!
Revere Beach is located a few miles north of actual downtown Boston and was established in 1896. It is 84 acres and the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of downtown traffic. You can read more about the beach by visiting their webpage at http://reverebeach.com/
The weather today was fantastic. It was very sunny and we got there, it made sense that we so happened to pick today to venture out! The snow yesterday had left and most of our 9 feet we have gotten this winter had also melted so even though we stumbled through some snow on the beach, it was for the most part clear. I felt this was a great way for me to get back into my photography since I had taken a few months of a break from it as well. It’s my one thing I can always come back to and will never bore me. Here are some of my favorites from the day!

I couldn’t decide between the coloration of the two photos above as I love both so you tell me which is your favorite! In the comments below let me know if you prefer Option 1 or Option 2 better!
I definitely plan to go back to the beach, however as the weather warms, the number of people at the beach will also increase! We lucked out today in that there wasn’t too many people, however the cold didn’t stop the ones who wanted a good run or to bring the dogs for a run as well.
Southern Loving,
Samantha
I like option 2 but they are both beautiful! Beautiful pictures as always!
